Tires Have Arrived! Sitting next to the originals

Been working on my real truck this winter {2005} and got the lifts installed. I installed a 4" Trailmaster suspension lift and a Rugged Trail 3" body lift for a total of 7" of lift prepairing for the new rubber. New Nerfs from Dee-Zee, Rear deck fiberglass cover painted to match, lighted Ford emblem in the grill, Lightning Headlights and clear corners, Black carbon fiber "retro" taillights, and Factory Ford LARGE flairs painted to match the Oxford White Paint.

Tires arrived in November. I decided to go with Nitto Terra Grapplers 325/65/18 [35 x 18] instead of going with the factory 16" wheels I wanted the 18"s because of my wheels choice. The Terra's are 1 of the best ridding street tires that are made. They balance out good and ride like a dream on the street with NO noise what-so-ever.

BOYD CODDINGTON POSEIDONS 18"

Signature Series Boyds
|
|
I went with a set of Boyd Coddington Poseidons for my wheels choice. These are the real Boyds..not imatation wheels ...These are the Signiture wheels, I chose to get them in 18x10 instead of the 16" that came factory to set off the tires a little more.

|
The ORIGINAL SIGNITURE WHEELS from Boyd. These wheels although not cheap at $560/wheel are about the lightest wheels I've ever used and I've used weld and variuos others in the past that won't even come close to being this light. They are polished to a gleaming shine and the placement of the valve stem is in the rear of the wheel to keep the clean appearance.

What do you think?
This has been my Winter Project instead of working on my Rc's. You can't spend all your money on Rc's all the time...:)

First time out in the woods since everything was installed. Left it in the edge of the woods while hunting...NO WAY was I taking it in the woods with the new wheels gleaming :)
